Student Opportunity Fund
Every student should have the opportunity to experience an Outward Bound program, and financial ability should never be a barrier. Thanks to generous donations from foundations, corporations, parents, alumni and other individuals, we award more than $2 million in scholarship support to individual students for wilderness programs annually.
Scholarships range from partial up to full tuition and are most often awarded to young adults (ages 12-21) attending our longer courses. Scholarship money is made available based on financial need and awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis. If the cost of an Outward Bound course is beyond your means, apply for a scholarship by completing the Scholarship Application Packet.
Additional information about how to apply and policies regarding scholarships can be found here.
