Outward Bound Leadership Award
Outward Bound Leadership Awards provide full-tuition scholarships for high school and college students from across the country based on merit. Students who demonstrate an interest in community service and display leadership potential are chosen by school champions – typically teachers and other youth development professionals.
Community champions endow Leadership Awards to instill passion, commitment and knowledge in today’s most promising youth. Scholarship donors designate a school or university partner when the Award is established. Teachers and staff at the school help to identify candidates, select Award recipients and prepare students for course experiences. One student is chosen annually to receive the Leadership Award at each designated school.
