Benefit Dinners
Outward Bound Benefit Dinner events are exciting and fun vehicles for spreading awareness of the Outward Bound mission, and bringing the support of the corporate community to a diverse constituency. The annual benefit provides funding for community activities and scholarships for hundreds of students without the financial means to otherwise participate on an Outward Bound course.These events rely on the generosity of individuals and businesses who continue to be great supporters of the mission of Outward Bound, as well as, those just getting to know us. Every year, we receive over $100,000 in gift-in-kind donations from local and national companies for silent auction, printing, and event needs. Without the support of these generous individuals and businesses, Outward Bound Benefit Dinners would not be possible.
Money raised from these events allows Outward Bound to:
- Provide student scholarships for young people in need of financial assistance
- Maintain the quality and safety standards of our programming
- Continue to provide community support
